The Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS) conducts ESG evaluations for all KRX-listed companies and is the most reputable evaluation institution in Korea. It performs annual evaluations, including basic and in-depth (penalty) assessments, in the areas of environment, social, and governance. Grades (S~D, a total of 7 grades) are announced each October and subsequently adjusted. POSCO, along with its holding company POSCO Holdings, is evaluated, and in 2023, POSCO Holdings achieved the highest grade of A+.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest global supply chain ESG evaluation institution, utilized by over 100,000 companies worldwide. It conducts annual evaluations in four areas: environment, labor/human rights, ethics, and supply chain, and announces the scores.
