POSCO strives for better sustainable management based on objective evaluations from specialized institutions.
Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability
The Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS) conducts ESG evaluations for all KRX-listed companies and is the most reputable evaluation institution in Korea. It performs annual evaluations, including basic and in-depth (penalty) assessments, in the areas of environment, social, and governance. Grades (S~D, a total of 7 grades) are announced each October and subsequently adjusted. POSCO, along with its holding company POSCO Holdings, is evaluated, and in 2024, POSCO HOLDINGS achieved grade of A

EcoVadis is the world’s largest global supply chain ESG evaluation institution, utilized by over 100,000 companies worldwide. It conducts annual evaluations in four areas: environment, labor/human rights, ethics, and supply chain, and announces the scores.
